A place in the garden that's theirs.
It's been thirteen months, and the lettering is still sharp. You notice it on a morning in February, crouching to move a pot, rain still clinging to the slate, and their name catches you the same way it did the day you hung it. White against black. Clear as the day you chose those words.
That's the point. A garden changes. Things grow, things weather, seasons strip the colour out of everything you leave outside. But this stays.
Each heart is hand-finished from natural slate, a generous piece, 24.5cm across, with enough weight in your hands to feel like it matters. The engraving is cut twice for depth, then infilled with white acrylic that bonds into the stone. Rain beads off it. Frost doesn't crack it. The sun doesn't bleach it. A coat of mineral oil brings the slate to a deep, true black that makes the inscription stand out the way a name should.
It hangs on an olive-toned cord that weathers quietly alongside everything else in the garden, and it's personalised with whatever needs to be there, their name, their dates, a design that meant something. For pet memorials, if you have a picture or paw print we can engrave the exact shape of their paw print from your uploaded image, because no two were ever the same. simply use the image upload after checkout.
Some things in the garden are seasonal. This isn't one of them.
